Does a deployed (compiled) executable expire with the license of MATLAB compiler that generates the executable? Thanks.

It will run forever but you will have to keep a copy of MCR from the same version of MATLAB from which you compiled your program. MATLAB will expire but as long as you install the MCR on any machine you are good to go.
I am cautioning because the newer MCR releases are available online: http://www.mathworks.com/products/compiler/mcr/index.html
But the older ones aren't and you need to keep a copy.

If you have a regular MATLAB license, it is a permanent license that does not expire, and neither do deployed components created under that license. But if you have a free trial license (of either MATLAB itself or MATLAB Compiler), that does expire, and so do components deployed under that license.

How about the case of the Academic licenses that are set to expire yearly?
