Deploytool

Does anyone know if "Deploytool" is built in Matlab or is a toolbox that needs to be purchased?

It requires the "MATLAB Compiler" toolbox.

What is the cost of this tool(or toolbox)??? I've sent an e-mail to mathworks asking for the price of this toolbox. But still not received any reply.

The tool is on the order of $US6900 for the Professional Version single-user license, if I recall correctly. The pricing is different for Academic Version. The tool is not available at all for Student Version.

I was surprised by how much more expensive it is than other toolboxes.

MATLAB Compiler and MATLAB Coder are both different from the other toolboxes in that they allow the user to get the solution to work on other systems without requiring a MATLAB license for each target system. That is a "loss of opportunity" cost that has been factored in to the pricing.
