Quantization and fading by sum of sinusoids

I want to simulate fading in wireless channels by sum of sinusoids method. I got the equations and all. But I am unable to decide

1. What is sampling frequency

2. What is time interval to take in discrete domain

3. How to relate sampling period to symbol duration

4. Does quantizing signal would be helpful?

Please help me with any sample codes or suggestions
