How can I insert a data into specified GUI table cell?

as the below picture shows. I want to change the values within "Status" Column by click "Active" checkbox. For instance, when I click checkbox # 1, the 1st row of "Status" Column shows a string "on". the 1st row of "Status" Column shows a string "off", if I remove the tick from checkbox # 1.

Anyone knows how can I make it?

I don't think you can set just one part of the table. I think you might have to write the entire table back to the control. Is this a uitable control like you'd place on your GUI in GUIDE?
