Matlab Component Runtime MCR 7.0

Hello:

I am trying to run an application that needs Matlab MCR 7.0 but I am using R2010b. Is there any way around this issue?

Application manual quote:

"Please note that this version of the executable code has been developed with MATLAB© Version 7.0.0.19920 (R14) and has not been tested on OS other than Windows XP"

If you have the original source code for the application, you can recompile the application with R2010b.

If not, then you can try installing the MCR 7.0 (request it from the person who developed the application).

Without recompiling or using the original MCR, the application will not run.
