need images for my research in medical image registration

Contact your principal investigator. He or she probably had some images in mind when they applied for the grant. Medical images are very difficult to obtain due to privacy laws, unless you just want typical things you can find on a web search. But those are often useless because they are low resolution and you don't know anything about the acquisition parameters and true medical diagnosis. But if your radiologist is planning on working with you on this project, most likely he or she has a set of images already arranged and approved for use in this project.
