See lsim() function: https://www.mathworks.com/help/ident/ref/lti.lsim.html from Control System toolbox.
Or ilasplace(): https://www.mathworks.com/help/symbolic/ilaplace.html from The Symbolic toolbox.
For example
syms s t
trans_fun = 1/(s+1);
u = 1/s^2;
y = ilaplace(trans_fun*u);
fplot(y, [0 10])

this needs to be done using a ramp input in simulink

Ramp already have a transfer function of 1/s^2. You can just connect with a transfer function block and check the output using scope block.
