how to generate edge map of filtered images?

i have some gradient map images which is generated by sobel operator and 1x2 operator. can you please tell me how to generate edge map for the gradient maps? please let me know about matlab code syntax.

I believe I gave you complete code for this in http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/64593#comment_131810 so why are you asking again? Is anything different here than in that question?
