Help with Pause SystemSpeech method

Hello im trying to pause the action System.Speech.Synthesis.SpeechSynthesizer while it is executing.

It would be nice to give an example, because i have tried in many ways and i find it imposible.

obj = System.Speech.Synthesis.SpeechSynthesizer;

obj.Volume = 100;

Speak(obj, "Hello im fine, today is monday");

Pause(obj);
