How do I make this graph? Mean ensemble time series graph with range of uncertainty.

I'm trying to put together a graph in Matlab that looks like this example from the IPCC AR4 report. I have vectors of the mean, max CI, and min CI for two scenarios. Any tips are greatly appreciated. Using error bars (instead of range of uncertainty grayed area) makes me want to stab my eyes out with a dull spoon.

Try out boundedline on the FEX.

If not satisfied there are several links to the aknowledgments with submissions which pretty much do the same.

Thanks, I ended up using the fill function instead.
