simulink pid tuning error

when i use "tune" at pid controller block in simulink, the error says "invalid MEX file, invalid win 32 ver.dll... How can I resolve?

What version of MATLAB are you using? Do you have Simulink Control Design?

Perhaps it's related to Why do I get an error about an Invalid MEX-file ver.dll when running the ver command on a Windows machine? (it is likely that the "tune" operation invokes the VER command)
