What are the Initial Domain Conditions?

Hello. I have done 2 MATLAB codes but the question is asking me to explain the initial and boundary conditions implemented.
The first code has boundary conditions of the first kind (I explained this). However, the Initial Domain Condition = 0 degrees, but I don't understand what I have to explain on here.
The second code has homogeneous boundary condition of the second kind, which I also explained. The Initial Domain Condition = 20 degrees but again, I don't understand what I have to explain about the initial condition.
