How to take out a specific part of signal for processing?

I have a signal, size(x)=30000.I have to take out the signal details present in between the range 10000 to 20000 and subject them for further signal processing techniques.How can i do this??

For example (I'll just create a noise signal to demonstrate)

 x = randn(3e4,1);
 xnew = x(1e4:2e4);

xnew is the signal containing the elements you want.
