I was trying to compiler my R2020b appdesigner code and got the following mcc error foundation::storage::vfs::Exception. What does it mean and how can I get around it?

(Making folder not read-only) Right-click the prj file folder and select Properties. Un-check the box beside Read-only then click OK. Close MATLAB and re-start it, try again!

The foundation::storage::vfs::Exception error usually occurs when the code tries to access a folder that does not exist or lacks proper permissions.
The following steps can be followed to fix this:
  1. Check Folder Existence: Ensure all paths in your code point to existing folders.
  2. Verify Permissions: Make sure the folders have the necessary read/write permissions.
By addressing these potential issues, you should be able to avoid the error and successfully compile your App Designer code.
