MATLAB 3D-VECTOR PLOT

hy, i was asked to use matlab to calculate the trajectory v of a particle moving in a liquid flow-field where v = a + b, a = [20sint 20cos t 0] and b = [0,0,10(-t/4)^2] . from t=0s to t=40s at 0.4s interval and plot it in 3d. However I dont know have any clue on how to solve for v. your help is higly appreciated.
