How to create a geographic world map of grided data in matlab?

Hello everyone!

I have a matrix which looks as shown in figure below.

The first two columns indicate the longitude-lattitude of the world. The third column indicates some value of a parameter (let's say temperture).

I want to create a world map, where the different values of the temperature can be indicated by some color values. Can anyone help me in doing that?

Hi Kumar,

From your question I understand that you need a function that can plot plot points on the world map and indicates temperature ranges. Please refer to the geobubble function in MATLAB. A nice illustrative example is provided in the same documentation that I think is in lines with your requirement.
