Check your unicode settings and keyboard. The quote in your is something different.
Reference: uint16('’')%this is your quote
yields ans =
8217
whereas, the normal quote (of ASCII/Unicode set) yields this,
uint16('''') %Normal Quote, uint8 would suffice as it is ANSI/Unicode
ans =
