Hi there,
I'm using Simulink and Simscape Electrical toolbox, and I'm trying to modify the "Three-Phase OLTC Regulating Transformer (Phasor Type)" to fit my application.
![OLTC](https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/uploaded_files/676668/OLTC.png)
to do so, I need to take "Tap Changer Control" (in green) from inside to outside of the previous mask:

![new app](https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/uploaded_files/676678/new%20app.png)
it turns out that many of the stuff inside the mask depends on powericon.p file, (look the initialization tab in the Mask Editor bellow)
![powericon.p](https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/uploaded_files/676683/powericon.png)
and it gives me some initialization errors when "Tap Changer Control" is missed.
is there any documentation, way to evaluate or anything to help me to understand how this pcoded file works?
many thanks in advance,

Hello Nabil,
it can be challenging to just edit a library block like that. You can attempt it using the following functionality, but it is honestly probably easier to build something up from scratch. The .p file is protected and hidden on purpose so you will not really be able to work with it.
Regards,
Joel
