2D slice of a 3D volume!

Hi,
I have a 3D matrix. All the numbers are density values of a volume. Now I want to have a slice from it. And I want the plane of slice to be optional. (Suppose I have a water melon and I want to have a thin slice from anywhere I want) Thanks in advance!

Did you see the slice() function? Doesn't that do exactly what you want?
