Macbook Pro, Big Sur, Cannot add matlab2019b into privacy's "Full Disk Access" section

Hi all
I am trying to add Matlab2019b on the list of apps that have "Full Disk Access". When I click on + and then select matlab2019b, the app does not get added to the list.
How can I fix that?
