How to detect head movement(i.e if it is looking sideways or straight) in matlab?

Hello friends,i am doing a project in which i have to detect whether head is looking sideways or not as it is related to drivers so plz hel me if anybody knows............ I have tried face detection when the face is looking sideways but was unable to do so please help me as soon as possible. Here are the two images that i have inserted.......... <<
