Can't reload '/usr/local/MATLAB/R2017b/bin/glnxa64/libmwdastudio.so'
In my case this happened because I called ${MATLAB_ROOT}/bin/glnxa64/MATLAB instead of ${MATLAB_ROOT}/bin/matlab
