Description

The SPiiPlus ADK Suite of software tools is designed to minimize time to market while providing the flexibility to meet the specific machine requirements throughout its entire lifecycle. It provides easy setup, fast application development, and quick diagnostics for all SPiiPlus control products. All tools include a controller simulator, powerful remote access and diagnostics, and fast error recovery, thus reducing training effort and costs. With the SPiiPlus Simulator, you can develop the entire Windows host front-end application, and real-time motion programs. A full simulation of your entire machine can be developed, using ACSPL+ programs to emulate real-life changes of inputs, outputs, safety faults, errors, and more. The front end and machine control software can then be logically tested and debugged from a desktop or laptop computer without attaching any hardware.

The SPiiPlus Library for MATLAB® offers expanded flexibility and capability for motion control engineers. The library enables users to develop sophisticated applications with advanced diagnostics capabilities with ACS control systems from within MATLAB.  Connectivity between MATLAB and ACS’s motion controllers is provided via the SPiiPlus .NET Library which is also part of the SPiiPlus ADK Suite and enables direct read/write of data and sending commands to the ACS control systems. This allows MATLAB users to develop algorithms, such as custom motion profiles, do custom FRF measurements, use advanced monitoring systems, and much more.

The SPiiPlus Library for MATLAB allows users to experiment with algorithms to improve motion control performance for their application. It can provide design support at each stage of the development process, from modeling to deployment through automatic code generation.
