Gabriele Bunkheila, MathWorks
The term Internet of Things is increasingly used to describe the interconnectedness of embedded devices and the Internet. These devices can communicate with each other and often collect sensor data, which is stored in the cloud. This data is then processed and analysed in order to draw valuable information. IoT solutions are created for various applications such as monitoring environmental data, health monitoring, control of household appliances, or projects in the maker movement. This session describes how MATLAB® supports both the development of IoT systems and the collection and analysis of IoT sensor data.
