My machine is running Mac OS X 10.4.x and I was wondering if MATLAB is supported on this operating system.

MATLAB is officially supported on the Mac OS X 10.4.x operating system for versions R14SP3 to R2008b. For a list of specific supported versions, see our System Requirements page at the following link:
