How do I set the default font size for just the text in Figures in MATLAB 7.7 (R2008b)?

I would like to change the default font size of the axes labels for my plot.

To change the default font size of the axes labels, such as title, xlabel, ylabel, and tick labels, use the following example code which sets the defaultAxesFontSize to be size 20 font:
set(0,'defaultAxesFontSize',20)
