How can I receive e-mail with MATLAB?

I would like to receive e-mail with MATLAB. Similar to the SENDMAIL function currently available in MATLAB, I would like an analogous function to get electronic mail.

The ability to get or receive e-mail in is not available in MATLAB.
As a workaround try to use ActiveX or COM.
