How to select the same point in a second image which has moved a distance compared to first image?

I manually extracted the coordinates of a point from an image using the ginput command. the point has moved a distance in the second image. How shall I get the coordinates of the same point I extracted in my first image?

Did the whole image shift, like the camera panned? Or did just one object, like a ball or car or person, move and the rest of the scene stayed still?
