MATLAB save image from GUI using push button

I need help in exporting the figure that is embedded in your GUI:

axes(handles.axes3);
[FileName, PathName] = uiputfile('*.jpg', 'Save As');
Name = fullfile(PathName, FileName);
imwrite(?????, Name, 'jpg');

What does in the question mark? I put in handles.axes3 and it creates the file at 1kb but there's no image.

What am i doing wrong?

See getframe(). Also see saveas() and print(), both of which would be likely be more appropriate than getframe() for your purpose.
