How to use wxw sliding window to generate multiple images from the input image

Good Day,
I want to generate multiple small images using WxW window and also want to save them. Plus I need the window to jump to the next pixel if intensity value is zero. I will be very grateful for the help. Answer with a Matlab code or useful link will be apprecited
