Opening .mnc files using EMMA package

I need to work on some .mnc files (brain mri) for a project.I got the images database from http://brainweb.bic.mni.mcgill.ca/brainweb/.

I am also using MATLAB 2010a and EMMA v1.0.0(for working on the .mnc images) but I get this error while opening the files :-

??? Error using ==> miinquire at 142 Error getting image dimensions from file A:\DATA\MATLAB\Documents/demofdgbrain.mnc

Error in ==> openimage at 173 DimSizes = miinquire (filename, 'imagesize');

If anyone has some idea about it or if someone knows any other way to work on the images please share.Thanks in advance .:)
