Hint: call linspace:
numberOfElements = 500; % for example.
x = linspace(-1, 2, numberOfElements);
% Now construct y
y = .......................
% now call plot
plot(....................
Give it a try. Not hard at all. Really really easy. Just remember to use .^ instead of ^.
