Skip strings in the legend

I'm plotting a total of 20 functions.

A - 10 functions joined together B - 10 functions joined together

So I only need 2 legend entries.

Right now I'm just using

legend('A','','','','','','','','','','B')

How can I skip these blank spaces and just select the 11th plot command?
