Loading data to and from Matlab to Optisystem

How can i load a matrix in Matlab to Optisystem software, do some operations there and load the output from Optisystem back to Matlab? Thanks for any help :)

Hello,

You may use the Matlab component provided in the Matlab Library.

You should know that OptiSystem has a specific data structure to each component. For example the signal generated by the WDM transmitter is OutPort1.Sampled.Signal and the corresponding time array is OutputPort.Sampled.Time.

Thank you very much for your reply. I am not familiar with matlab component in optisystem. Can you tell me how to use the matlab component in optisystem? Should I provide the path adress of matlab code to be called using optisystem in the path link of Matlab component in optisystem?
