Version of MATLAB to use with Windows 7 64-bit + Psychtoolbox

Hi there,

I'm about to purchase a MATLAB license because I need to run some experiments that require the Psychtoolbox package, but had a question:

- Does a license allow me to download and use multiple MATLAB versions on the same computer? I only ask in case I need to use a package that is only compatible with an older version - I ran into this difficulty before years ago.

Yes you can. I have the last 3 versions (R2013a, R2013b, and R2014a) on my computer and I can run any of them. Actually I have both 64 bit and 32 bit so I have 6 installations on my computer. I have never had difficulties running any of them. What sort of difficulties running older versions have you had?

Oh it was just that at one point several years ago I needed to run an older version in order for a package to work. So it's good to know I can have multiple installs onboard in case that happens again. Thanks!
