java jar import problem

I have these lines of code:

javaaddpath('C:\mypath\jhud\Desktop\recon_code\FontBox-0.1.0\lib\FontBox-0.1.0.jar'); javaaddpath('C:\mypath\PDFBox-0.7.3\lib\PDFBox-0.7.3.jar');

pdfdoc = org.pdfbox.pdmodel.PDDocument;

I get the following error: Undefined variable "org" or function "org.pdfbox.pdmodel.PDDocument".

does the "pdfdoc ="etc line of code instantiate an object ? what is trying to do and why isn't it working?
