Script plotting images vector

I have to create a script that plots a graph. I have 5 images (.jpg) that have to get read. The directions read, "read each image into one cell of a vector named “lacImages”. The first image will be in lacImages{1}, the second image will be in lacImags{2}, … " If anyone can help that would be great!!!
