That depends on what you mean by professional gui. However, many would answer NO to

• "does guide provide building a professional gui for matlab"
• and claim that "other coding" would include Java

I would partially disagree, depending on what nida is looking for but a lot can be done with and without MATLAB trickery. There might have to include some Java, and probably won't be graphically pretty or "Modern" looking. But it all depends on what you're looking for in a GUI.
