upside down plot in GUI

Hi! I am programming a GUI which draws a plot from the values that the user gives, and once I already have a plot drawn, when I change the inputs so that the program draws a new one I sometimes get a plot upside down, and it doesn't make any sense because I have not programmed any function to rotate my plot or something similar, Any idea? Thanks!

You may have something like this

set(gca,'ydir','reverse')

on your code

no, I didn't write that. it is really weird. I just have a plot, and pretend to rewrite it each time, and although the code to be followed is exactly the same, it is drawn upside down...
