How can I reverse the effect of the hamming window on my signal. I know some transform can be inversed by the use of i ie ifft etc however, how can I do this?

Hi,
To reverse the effect of the Hamming window on your signal, you need to divide your windowed signal by the Hamming window. This is because the Hamming window modifies the amplitude of your signal at each point in time. Dividing by the Hamming window will restore the original amplitude of your signal.
