3D plot with uncertainties

I want to plot a 3d curve with uncertainties of one variable. Could you please help me how to make this plot? Thanks! for example: I have:

u=0:0.001:20; plot3(sin(u), cos(u),u);

Now if u in the sin(u), cos(u) term has 10% uncertainties and I want to show the 3d plot, i.e., plot3 (sin(u+-0.1u), cos(u+-0.1u),u), How can I make this plot?
