PAUSE BUTTON - Stop putting data for a while - the putdata funcion

Hi,
The question is in the title - how to make the PAUSE BUTTON ? I use the analogoutput from DAQ Toolbox to play the wave file and stop it . But I also need to pause it . How can I implement this? My program runs in GUI .
