Passing PWM signal to serial port

Is it possible to generate a PWM signal and pass it to serial port? I want to control a dc motor using PWM signal. How can i do this?

No, it is not possible, at least not with anything you are likely thinking of as being a "serial port". See http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/12732-pwm-signal-simulink-on-serial-port
