How can I fuzzify an image for entropy-fuzzy thresholding?

I am new to fuzzy logic. I am given a membership function based upon the distances between the pixels in the original image and the average image. I need to convert the image to fuzzy field to use it further for thresholding based on entropy.
Any help would be appreciated!
