How can I remove this File Handling error?

I am getting this Invalid File Identifier error. What am I doing wrong here?

 Error using fprintf
  Invalid file identifier.  Use fopen to generate a valid file identifier.

Error in results (line 46)
            fprintf(fileID,'\n\n' );

Febin, hard to say without any further information. You could use this approach too see if there are any error msg when opening the file. This will help you getting started with trouble-shooting.
