Problem with application compiler execution

Hello experts,

I have written a script which is opening laptop camera and processes images. When i tried to make its executable from Application Compiler, it is creating executable. However it is not opening the camera.

vid = videoinput('winvideo',1,'YUY2_320x240');

Also, calender can not be opened after making it's executable.

It is running perfectly fine from Matlab editor/ IDE

Can someone help?

Do any error message go to the console window?

No. Also, I am executing it independently when editor/ IDE is closed.

Take the semicolon off the video input line and see what goes into the console window. Something MUST go in there, either an error message or information about your video stream.

Working fine with below input:

So it looks like it's is actually "opening" the camera. Did you set the output color space to RGB and run preview()? Is there an RGB colormode that you can use right away instead of YUY2?

My camera has YUY2 and MJPG support. I did not find RGB support with camera.

I also changed to MJPG and changed device ids but still problem is not solved.

Apparently i found that it is throwing an error: MATLAB:UndefinedFunction

Is application compiler not supporting video input function?
