Comment out simulink block before deploy to hardware

Hello, I use the Simulink to program my Arduino UNO board. Now I was wondering if there is an other possibility to tell the compiler if a block or subsystem should not be deployed to the hardware. Currently i just comment them out. So is there an other solution?
