hi , I have an excel sheet of accelerometer data and want to use a high pass filter to filter the lower frequencies.

The code for the summation of voltage obtained by the accelerometer is given as below:

[~, ~, raw] = xlsread('C:\Users\Shilpa\Documents\scope_record_3.csv','scope_record_3');
raw = raw(2:end,:);
data = cell2mat(raw);
data_trap = trapz(data);

after this i want to use a high pass filter???

Hi Shilpa,

I guess the easiest way is to type this

fdatool

in MATLAB command window, this opens the Filter Design and Analysis toolbox where you can create your filter, see it's frequency response and ..., and finally when ever you're happy you can generate a code from the designed filter and even save it for future manipulation.
