Copy/Paste Simulink model into word: Variable names does contain additional "space" character after process

I'm using Matlab R2007a V7.4.0.287. To edit some written specifications, I'm copying the Simulink Matlab model into Clipboard and paste it into the MS word documwent. After doing this, the model variable names in MS word file does contain some additional "space" characters which does lead to incorrect variable names.
Can you please inform me if this issue is a known issue and how the problem can be solved.
Thanks

I still struggle to understand the issue. When I select "Copy Model to Clipboard" from the model's menu and paste it into MS Word, I see a screenhot of the model. OK. But what are "model variable names"? Signal names? Block names? Parameters in certain block masks?

Hi Andreas,
yes right, a screenshot of the model is copied into word. The defined signal names (Input, Output, Parameters) does contain in the screenshot some additional "space characters". I.e Input signal name in Simulink model is P_L_Esm_start_up_logic becomes
P_L_ Esm_start_ up_logic in screenshot.

Neither I could reproduce this, nor did I find a known issue for that description. I suggest that you provide your example to Technical Support. Make sure you also include information about OS and MS Word version.
One other comment is not related to the particular problem, but related to the workflow. Using Simulink Verfification & Validation and the Simulink Report Generator is widely used in your industry. Maybe, there is an opportunity to enhance the worfflow.
