L1,L2,L3,i1(0) and i2(0) are constants

u1 = -L1 ( i1(0) - i1) -L3 ( i1(0) + i2(0) -i1 -i2 )

u2 = -L2 ( i2(0) - i2) -L3 ( i1(0) + i2(0) -i1 -i2 )

Then "-L1 ( i1(0) - i1)" means "-L1 * ( i1(0) - i1)" ?
